Brad Walck began his tenure as Vice President for Student Affairs in June 2005.
Prior to serving as Vice President, he was the Women’s Basketball Coach from 1991 to 1999. During that time he also was a faculty member serving in both, the HPER and Social Sciences Division.
He taught a variety of courses, including Wellness, Swimming, American History, Social Issues As Perceived Through Movies and American Multiculturalism Thru Film.
In 2002 he was promoted to the Chairman of the Social Sciences Division where he served for three years. He received his Bachelors of Arts in History from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1978. In 1984 he earned a Masters of Education in Secondary Education from East Central University and in 1990 he completed a second Masters Degree in Secondary Administration, also from East Central.
Dr. Walck completed a Doctorate of Philosophy Degree in Educational Studies from the University of Oklahoma in 2008. He is married to Kay Walck and has four daughters, Meredith, Randee, Kamy and Braden.

Mark Ames joined Seminole State College in July of 2011 with over 26 years of experience in student services at the community college tier. At SSC he oversees student recruitment and admission, records, financial aid, academic advisement, testing, student activities and residential life.
Mark received both his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Science in Applied Psychology from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He received his doctorate in Higher Education Administration from Oklahoma State University

I came to Seminole State College in 1985 as a part time clerk in the bookstore. I worked in the bookstore for 15 years before moving to Roesler Residential Learning Center as the Resident Life Clerk in 2000.
I moved to Seminole Nation Residential Learning center in February of 2008. I am in charge of the daily operations of the 230 bed resident halls.
