General Information:
Any student currently enrolled at SSC
has borrowing privileges. A limit of (5) five books
may be checked out for (2) two
weeks. High School students must be sixteen
years of age and have a Public Library Reciprocal card.
Non-Students may checkout books
if they have one of the following cards.: (OK
Share Cards are also taken under this agreement)
- OBU Library Card
- Seminole Public Library Reciprocal (friends) card
- Friends of the Library cards are issued by Public Libraries
Comfortable reading sections and private study areas
are available.

Services:
- Photocopy $ 0.10
A copy machine is located near the entrance
of the Student Success Center. It is card operated.
Cards may be purchased in
denominations of $1 & $5 from the Business
Office which is located
in Tanner Hall. The federal copyright law
(Title 17) applies to all copies.
- Duplicating (Non Copyrighted Material)
- Audio Tapes $0.50
- Video $1.00
Note: A new blank tape
or video supplied by the student and a minimum of 24 hours
notice are required for this service
- Laminating - Starts at $1.25
Academic Testing Services:
Placement exams, tests for self-paced computer courses,
CLEP exams (by appointment), proctored make-up exams, and student
IDs.

Research Information:

Material may be borrowed from another library and learning center
through interlibrary loan. All requests should be turned in as soon
as possible. There may be a service charge assessed for this service.
- OK-Share
- A cooperative program among libraries at Oklahomas
public and private colleges and universities that
allow higher education
students to borrow library materials. Additional
information.
- Online Services
- EBSCO is
a database system that includes hundreds of full-text articles
and abstracts.
Sources include newspapers, magazines, journals, and government
publications. A translator is included which enables materials
to be translated
into Spanish or French or German.
- News Bank
Files: News articles covering social, economic,
environmental, government, sports, the arts,
and science issues. Coverage
of more than 500 U.S. regional and national newspaper
articles. Includes
a
special reports section, news headline section
and access to maps
