Welcome to the financial aid loan application process! We believe the on-line loan application process is the best way to apply for your student loan. Students are advised to make no assumptions reqarding the date they will receive the loan refund check.

Seminole State College Loan Requirements:

If you are applying for a loan for the first time & did not complete Online Entrance Loan
registration from the previous page, complete it now. Then continue with this application.
Must be enrolled in at least 6 college hours.
You can not be in default on any loans.
Students with existing GPA must have a cumulative 2.0 or higher. Transfer students must have on file an official transcript from all previously attended institutions before loans will be processed.
Academic progress will be monitored: passing grades for loans are A, B, or C. A student failing a class or classes at the time SSC received the loan proceeds will NOT be eligible for the loan proceeds until passing grades are verified in every class.
A student MAY drop a class PRIOR to SSC receipt of the loan proceeds with the understanding that the loan amount could change.
If charges against the loan have been made, the amount charged must be paid prior to disbursement of the loan proceeds to the student.
Students leaving school will be required to complete the Online Exit Counseling. Failure to do so will result in a hold being placed on your academic transcript.
