Human Resources and the Hiring Department will send through an Personnel Action Request form to hire a new employee. After the form has the appropriate signatures, Human Resources will call the new employee to set up a payroll sign-up appointment to complete the necessary paperwork. Payroll will receive the necessary copies to begin the payroll process. These forms must be completed on or before the first work day per IRS guidelines.
All employees must sign up for automatic deposit to the facility of their choice, as mandated by the State of Oklahoma. Contact Human Resources (Ext. 204) for the form or online at DIRECT DEPOSIT FORM. Allow 30 days for processing.
All payroll changes must be received by the 10th of the month. Any change received after deadline may not be included until the following month’s payroll.
Changes to federal/state taxes can be made any time during the Calendar year. However, changes must be received in Payroll by the 10th of the month for current month’s payroll. Out-of-state residents are required to pay Oklahoma state taxes. Complete this form and return to Human Resources.
All employees may make voluntary pre-tax supplemental contributions by payroll deduction. Contact Human Resources (ext. 204) concerning maximum tax-deferred exclusion allowances, catch-up amounts or forms. (These are state and federally regulated.) Get 403b forms

Employees can make after-tax contributions to the Seminole State College Educational Foundation Campaigns, scholarships or accounts of their choice through payroll deduction. Contact Vice President for Institutional Advancement at Ext. 218 for information and forms. The Foundation Office will notify Payroll of any accounts.
