A message from the faculty:
Thank you for your interest in the Associate Degree Nursing Program at Seminole State College.
The program can be completed in two years (five semesters), but many students take three years to complete the program. The Associate Degree Nursing Program at Seminole State College is approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN) and The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), leading to an Associate of Applied Science degree (A.A.S.) in nursing. After graduating from the program, the students are educationally prepared to sit for the NCLEX-RN licensing examination in the State of Oklahoma.
All applications for admissions must be turned in to the nursing office at the Kelly Haney Center by March 1st. Class size is limited and is based on a ranking profile (see Standards for Admission).
A special option (Career Mobility Program) is available for LPN’s who meet specific admission criteria to complete the ADN program in one year.
