SEMINOLE STATE ATHLETICS

Allen Community College of Iola, KS. ventured to Seminole on Thursday only to lose a hard fought battle against a Trojan team that wouldn’t give up.  SSC won the contest 10-9............

 The SSC Trojan softball team jumped to 12-3 overall and 4-0 in conference play as they clobbered Rose State College four times in two days............

The Seminole State College Lady Trojans tennis team won two out of their three dual matches over the weekend by beating Laredo Community College of Texas 8-1, and Eastfield College of Texas 9-0.  The loss came to NJCAA.............

The Seminole State College Men's tennis team traveled to Temple, Texas on Friday and Saturday March 5th and 6th, to take on Temple Junior College and Laredo Community College............

Seminole State College and Paris Junior College faced off on Wednesday for a double header in Paris, TX.  The Trojans only gave up 6 hits in the opening game but couldn’t answer PJC’s fifth inning run and lost 3-2...........

The bats were strong for Seminole State College on Tuesday as the Trojans ran over Murray State College 15-4.  The win puts their record at 10 wins and 3 losses ...........

After a valiant comeback effort in the second half, the Belles of Seminole State College ended their season Monday night by losing to Arkansas Baptist College, 86-76.  SSC was down by 11 after the first half, but outscored their opponent........

The Seminole State College baseball team hosted Iowa Western Community College from Council Bluffs, IA. on Sunday in a double header.  SSC eked out two wins, 12-9, 6-5 ...........

When the SSC men’s basketball team traveled to Carl Albert State College on Thursday, they knew they had a tough game ahead of them.  After leading by 1 point at halftime, the Trojans continued their battle and came out victorious.......... 

The Seminole State College softball team headed off to Midland, TX last weekend to play five games in the Midland Tournament.  The Trojans came home with four wins and one loss..........
