Expected Graduates of SSC’s Nursing Program Recognized at Pinning Ceremony

Seminole State College held a pinning ceremony at the Enoch Kelly Haney Center on May 23 for nursing students expected to meet degree requirements in the spring semester

This semester marked the 50th year the College has offered its nursing program. Since 1972, 1018 nurses have launched their careers at SSC.

SSC student Rondell Johnson-Bennet received the Excellence in Nursing Award and Bethanie Watts received the Tiffany Tiffin Spirit of Nursing Award at the ceremony.

The following 22 students were eligible to complete degree requirements and are expected graduates: Shalaine Babbie, Kye Baeriswyl, Melinda Cernocky, Kelli Cooper, Trena Coursey, Valerie Degge, Madison Dugan, Faith Fullerton, Whitney Green, Ambrosha Hindman, Kalyn Holden, Laura Jacene, Zena Loy, Hadassah McCarthy, Rondell Johnson-Bennet, Cheyenne McDonald, Ashley Norcott, Sherri Shahan, Brittany Singleton, Candice Smith, Dakota Thompson and Bethanie Watts.
