Four Seminole State College students were recognized for their academic achievements at the All Oklahoma USA Academic Team and Oklahoma Association of Community Colleges President’s Tuition Waiver Student Recognition Ceremony on March 26.

SSC students Cherie Brewer of Seminole, Isaac Harjo of Shawnee and Mattie Wood of Depew were named to the All-Oklahoma Academic Team. Honorees had to be eligible to graduate during the 2018-2019 academic year and have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5. Medallions and certificates were presented to each student.

SSC student Channing Wortham of Shawnee received the OACC Tuition Waiver Award. Recipients of the award had to be a graduating high school senior or attend a community college and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5.
