The Seminole State College Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institutions Project (NASNTI) serves to increase retention and graduation rates of Seminole State College students. In order to appropriately address low retention and graduation rates at SSC, the college must provide interventions at all levels.
The NASNTI project has three components: Developmental Education, Learning Communities, and First-Year Experience. Each component compliments and links to the other components, creating an array of strategies and services that work together to enhance and increase the potential for student success and retention.
To achieve this, the project also includes: tutoring, peer mentors, professional development early alert, and the infusion of advanced technology into developmental education labs.
Native American Serving Non-Tribal Institutions (NASNTI) is funded by the U.S. Department of Education. We are located in the Boren Library on the Seminole State College Campus.
