Carol ParkerCarol Parker- Director

Carol Parker is a member of the Muskogee Creek Nation Tribe and has a similar background of the students she will be serving.  Carol is also a Retired Veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves.  Carol has been employed with Seminole State College for 16 years in different capacities, such as the Upward Bound Advisor and Coordinator, the Employment Readiness Director, the Scholars for Excellence in Child Care Coordinator, and the Talent Search Advisor/FOCUS West.  

Carol earned her Bachelor and Master of Arts in Human Resources from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. 


Michael SchnellMichael Schnell - Instructional Design Specialist

Michael Schnell’s tenure with Seminole State College began in August 1999 as an adjunct instructor for the Business & Information System Division.  In August of 2005 he was hired as a Part-time Computer Science instructor.  Michael was hired as the Technology Specialist for the first NASNTI grant in 2008.  When the grant ended, Michael moved to GEAR-UP as the Education Technology Specialist for one year and has returned as the Instructional Technology Specialist for the 2011 NASNTI grant.

Michael earned his Associate of Arts in General Education from Seminole State College, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Northeastern State University, and a Master of Science in Information Technology from Florida Institute of Technology.


Kay WallaceKay Wallace - Student Engagement Specialist

Kay Wallace began her employment with Seminole State College in September of 2013 as Student Development Specialist for NASNTI . 

Kay earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics with emphasis on Fashion  Merchandising.  Kay also gained her Master’s Degree in Arts and Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix in Tulsa, Oklahoma.


Bobbie CoonBobbie Coon - Coaching Specialist

Bobbie Coon is a citizen of the Muscogee Creek Nation. Prior to coming to Seminole State College she was the Health and Wellness Instructor at the College of The Muscogee Nation for three years. During her time there she served on numerous projects that increased the health and wellness of the American Indian student population..

Bobbie earned her Associate of Science in General Education from Seminole State College, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from Southern Nazarene University. She is also currently working on her Doctorate of Education in Administration and Leadership at Southern Nazarene University with an expected completion for Fall 2021.
