Shelly Watson - Director
Shelly Watson, has been employed with Seminole State College for over 8 years. Shelly’s tenure began as a part-time grant secretary for the SSC Nursing Division, then later serving as an International Student Advisor, for both the Nursing Program and for Student Affairs. Shelly transitioned into a Director position for two years with the first NASNTI Grant awarded Seminole State College in 2008. When the grant ended, Shelly served as Director for the Employment Readiness Program for one year and has now returned to campus as the Director for new NASNTI grant which was awarded in 2011.
Shelly earned her Associate of Applied Science degree in Office Management from Seminole Junior College, her Associate of Arts degree from Seminole State College, a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services Counseling from East Central University, a Master’s of Education in Counseling Education from East Central University, and is currently pursuing her Doctoral degree in Adult and Higher Education, with an emphasis in Community College Leadership from the University of Oklahoma.
Schnell - Instructional Technology Specialist
Michael Schnell’s tenure with Seminole State College began in August 1999 as an adjunct instructor for the Business & Information System Division. In August of 2005 he was hired as a Part-time Computer Science instructor. Michael was hired as the Technology Specialist for the first NASNTI grant in 2008. When the grant ended, Michael moved to GEAR-UP as the Education Technology Specialist for one year and has returned as the Instructional Technology Specialist for the 2011 NASNTI grant.
Michael earned his Associate of Arts in General Education from Seminole State College, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Northeastern State University, and a Master of Science in Information Technology from Florida Institute of Technology.
Wallace - Student Development Advisor
Kay Wallace began her employment with Seminole State College in September of 2013 as Student Development Specialist for NASNTI .
Kay earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics with emphasis on Fashion Merchandising. Kay also gained her Master’s Degree in Arts and Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Phariss - Student Development Advisor
Carey Phariss began his employment at Seminole State College in August of 2012 as the Student Development Advisor for NASNTI, Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach and Resident Advisor for the Seminole Nation Residential Learning Center.
Carey earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma and his Master's degree in Sports Administration from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma
Harrison - Student Development Advisor
Harrison began her employment at Seminole State College in August 2013
as the Student Development Advisor for NASNTI.
Laura earned her Associate of Arts from Seminole State College, a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services Counseling from East Central University, and is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling-Executive Leadership from Liberty University.
