WHAT IS A SCIENCE FAIR?
A science fair is a collection of exhibits each of which is designed to show a scientific phenomeon, principle, development or laboratory procedure.
WHO MAY ENTER THE FAIR?
All students, in grades 4-12, who have been designated as one of the top 15 winners in their divisions at a local qualifying fair in one of the following counties are eligible to compete in the East Central Oklahoma Regional Science & Engineering Fair: Coal, Okfuskee, Pontotoc, Pottawatomie, Hughes and Seminole counties.
Competitors in grades 7-12 will compete for the opportunity to participate in the Oklahoma State Science & Engineering Fair, to be held at East Central University, Ada, March 25-27.
At least one competitor, in grades 9-12, will earn the opportunity to compete at the International Science & Engineering Fair to be held in San Jose, CA, May 9-14, 2010.
