Courtne was named 2006-2007 all state soccer, academic all-state in soccer and conference and regional champions in 2007 for softball. Courtne's hobbies include working crossword puzzles, word finds and watching movies.

Her favorite book is Where the Red Fern Grows and favorite TV shows are Little People, Big World and Will and Grace. All the Pirates of the Caribbean movies are her favorites. Besides being the shortest player on the softball team, Courtne states she absolutely loves pirates.  Her role model is Christen Sconce.
