In high school Lauren's basketball team was 2007 State Runner-up and State Champion in 2006. She was also named to the Small West All Region in 2008.

Her hobbies include playing basketball, watching baseball, swimming, hanging out with her team and coaching in the Special Olympics. Lauren's favorite book is the Bible and Diary of Anne Frank. Her favorite TV shows are the Disney Channel, CSI and CMT. Her role model is Papa Fred. Lauren wants everyone to know that her brother Ben, who is 8, races race cars. She also has an adorable sister, Leslee, who is 4.
