Overview

This web portal provides a single access point to all reports and disclosures mandated by The Higher Education Act of 1965 (HEA), as amended by the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 (HEOA) which requires consistent disclosure of certain institutional characteristics and reporting requirements to prospective and current students, staff and the general public.

The content of this page is based on the "National Postsecondary Education Cooperative. (2009). Information Required to Be Disclosed Under the Higher Education Act of 1965: Suggestions for Dissemination (Updated) (NPEC 2010-831v2)" and is an aggregation of the necessary disclosures and reports.

It is designed to provide students with information from a variety of sources on campus to allow students, parents, counselors, and others to make informed decisions about enrollment at Seminole State College. While information provided in the required disclosures is helpful, it is not comprehensive and other factors may influence a decision to enroll. A paper copy of any information provided may be obtained upon request.

General Institutional Information

  • Price of Attendance
  • Refund Policy and Requirements for Withdrawal and Return of Federal Financial Aid
  • Military Tuition
  • SSC Procedure on the Return of Unearned Military Tuition Assistance Funds to the Government.

    • Military Tuition Assistance (TA) is awarded to a student under the assumption that the student will attend school for the entire period for which the assistance is awarded. When a student withdraws, the student may no longer be eligible for the full amount of TA funds originally awarded. To comply with the new Department of Defense policy, Seminole State College will return any unearned TA funds on a prorate basis through at least the 60% portion of the period for which the funds were provided. TA funds are earned proportionally during an enrollment period, with unearned funds returned based upon when a student stops attending.
