Seminole State College has named Kelsie Guy as its new Educational Foundation Advancement Coordinator. In her role on campus, Guy will assist the Foundation with special events and fundraising and will also provide administrative support.<\/p>\n\n\n

Guy grew up in\nPrague, Okla. and graduated from Prague High School. She attended SSC for one\nyear and then transferred to Oklahoma State University, where she received her\nbachelor\u2019s in human science, studying Hospitality and Tourism Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guy worked at\nBoone Pickens Stadium during her time as a student at OSU in the suites on game\ndays. She also worked a number of campus banquets and events.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWorking at OSU\nhelped fuel my passion for the event field,\u201d Guy said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 After graduation, she worked as a banquet captain\nfor a year before moving into her most recent role as an event coordinator at\nPDC Productions.  Through both of these\ncareer choices, she was able to gain valuable insight and further her\nexperience within the event industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019m very\nexcited to be working with the Foundation and can\u2019t wait to challenge myself\nwith this new role. SSC is such a tight-knit community and family, so I\u2019m very\nexcited to have the chance to return to this atmosphere.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In her free\ntime, she helps out with her family business and loves spending time with her\nhusband and two fur babies, Harley and Cooper. She enjoys going to the lake during\nthe summer and tailgating and attending the games as an alum at OSU during the\nfall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
