The reception was attended by a number of the College\u2019s Regents, faculty, staff, students and community members. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The SSC Food Pantry held its soft\nopening on Oct. 15. Since that time, it has helped a number of students facing\nfood insecurity challenges. The Food Pantry received a series of major\ndonations from community members to help kick start the program and more than\n60 of the College\u2019s employees have signed up for payroll deductions to help\nsustain the program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The SSC Food Pantry is open to\nstudents from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Tuesday and Friday. If\nyou are interested in giving to the SSC food pantry or volunteering, you may\ncontact Vice President\nfor Student Affairs Dr. Bill Knowles at\nb.knowles@sscok.edu or 405-382-9272.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The SSC Help Center provides support\nto students facing mental health issues, seeking counseling referrals or in\nneed of guidance on their academic careers.
