\u00a0\u00a0 The Seminole State College women\u2019s soccer team won the NJCAA Region II Tournament on Nov. 2 in Enid and will advance to the District Tournament on Nov. 6.<\/p>\n\n\n

           The Trojans are ranked seventh in the\nnation headed into the tournament, where they will face Johnson County\nCommunity College at the Stryker Sports Complex at 3:00 p.m. in Wichita,\nKansas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

           The Trojans hold a record of 18-0-2\non the season with a 14-game win streak. The team was undefeated in conference\nplay, has scored a total of 88 goals and their defense is ranked third in the\nnation, allowing only six goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

           \u201cWe are very proud of what the girls\nhave accomplished this season, and we\u2019re excited to see what comes next,\u201d SSC\nTrojan Soccer Head Coach Dan Hill said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

           The Trojans defeated NOC-Tonkawa 1-0\nand Rose State 2-1 to claim the Region II championship. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

           Coach Hill was recognized as the\nNJCAA Region II Co-Coach of the Year, and six Trojans were named to the\nAll-Region Team. Trojans earning First Team All-Region are: Cynthia Armas, of\nOwasso; Giselle Longoria, of McKinney, Texas; Amaya Grace, of Little Elm,\nTexas; and Juni Ejere, of Weatherford, Texas. Trojans earning Second Team\nAll-Region are: Abigail Correa, of El Paso, Texas; and Aubrey Adams, of Edmond.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
