The Seminole State College women\u2019s soccer team will compete in the NJCAA Division I Women\u2019s Soccer Championship at Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida, Nov. 18-23.<\/p>\n\n\n

SSC Trojans soccer team celebrates their NJCAA Region II championship win on Nov. 2 at Selby Stadium in Enid. The team will compete in NJCAA Division I Women\u2019s Soccer Championship at Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida, Nov. 18-23.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

           SSC will host a send-off for the\nsoccer team on Friday, Nov. 15 at 7:30 a.m. in the Student Union. The event\nwill be open to students, employees and the public. Light refreshments will be\nserved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

           After the Trojans captured the NJCAA\nRegion 2 Championship, they competed in the Plains District Tournament. The\nteam won their first game against Johnson County Community College with a final\nscore of 3-0. In their second matchup of the tournament, they faced Hill\nCollege. After a hard-fought 90-minute battle of regulation play and two\n10-minute overtime periods, the match was settled in six rounds of penalty\nkicks. The Trojans lost to Hill College 4-3. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

           However, the Trojans were still able\nto advance to the national tournament due to their overall record of 19-0-3,\nregional win, impressive districts play and their rank as fourth in the nation.\nThe team received an at-large bid to compete as the number 10 seed in the NJCAA\nDivision I Women\u2019s Soccer Championship. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

           In their first game of the national\ntournament, he Trojans will face Tyler College Nov. 18 at 3:00 p.m. For their\nsecond match, they will face Snow College on Nov. 19 at 3:00 p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
