During the\nleadership academy, students visited several state landmarks and attended\nsessions concerning Oklahoma\u2019s local government, government relations, the national\nelection, public policy and Oklahoma\u2019s economic future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition,\nthe group visited the Regional Food Bank, Express Ranch, the OKC Memorial, the\nOklahoma History Center, the Office of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher\nEducation, the Oklahoma General Contractors offices, Chesapeake Arena, OKC Golf\nand Country Club, Devon Petroleum, The Oklahoman and Tinker Air Force Base. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The group also\nhad the privilege of meeting many of Oklahoma\u2019s leaders, including John\nBobb-Semple, Senior Director of Community Impact at the Regional Food Bank of\nOklahoma; Bobby Stem, President of the Association of Oklahoma General Contractors;\nKelly Dyer-Frye, Editor-in-Chief at The Oklahoman; Dr. Glen Johnson, Chancellor\nof the Oklahoma State System of Higher Education; Dr. Bob Blackburn, Executive\nDirector of the Oklahoma Historical Society. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ashcraft is a\n2019 Seminole High School graduate.
