{"id":1999,"date":"2020-06-09T14:43:00","date_gmt":"2020-06-09T20:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sscok.edu\/media\/?p=1999"},"modified":"2020-06-09T14:44:01","modified_gmt":"2020-06-09T20:44:01","slug":"ssc-student-athletes-receive-academic-all-american-honors-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sscok.edu\/media\/ssc-student-athletes-receive-academic-all-american-honors-2\/","title":{"rendered":"SSC Student-Athletes Receive Academic All-American Honors"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>SSC Student-Athletes Receive Academic All-American Honors<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Forty-seven student-athletes and five athletic teams at Seminole State College have been recognized for their outstanding academic achievements this year by the National Junior College Athletic Association.&nbsp; The NJCAA All-American Student Athlete Awards are divided into the three groups based on GPA \u2013 First Team requires a 4.0 GPA, Second Team requires a GPA between 3.80 and 3.99, and Third Team requires a GPA between 3.60 and 3.79.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SSC student-athletes recognized as First Team are: Aubrey Adams \u00ad\u2013 Soccer; Brett Biggs \u2013 Baseball; Bianca Coleman \u2013 Soccer; Tucker Dunlap \u2013 Baseball; Peyton Galyean \u2013 Golf; Seth Hopkins \u2013 Baseball; Bobbi Leitha \u2013 Softball; Sydney Martin \u2013 Softball; Trevor Martin \u2013 Baseball; Mia Meshell \u2013 Softball; Grant Murphey \u2013 Golf; Brayden Rodden \u2013 Baseball; Brock Rodden \u2013 Baseball; Jace Wallace \u2013 Basketball.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Student-athletes recognized as Second Team are: Lariah Allen \u2013 Volleyball; Isaac Bloomer \u2013 Baseball; Juni Ejere \u2013 Soccer; McKayla Franks \u2013 Softball; Taia Harris \u2013 Softball; Jason Houpt \u2013 Basketball; Matthew Kaiser \u2013 Baseball; Tiffany Maxey \u2013 Volleyball; Skylar McCord \u2013 Softball; Sunny Middleton \u2013 Volleyball; Madison Murphy \u2013 Volleyball; Jayden Smith \u2013 Basketball; Maddux Solomon \u2013 Baseball; Shelby Stevenson \u2013 Softball; Anthony Thomas \u2013 Basketball; and Conner Womack \u2013 Baseball.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Student-athletes recognized as Third Team are: Kirstyn Anderson \u2013 Volleyball; Dixie Anderson \u2013 Soccer; Charley Barnhart \u2013 Softball; Evan Barron \u2013 Baseball; Shianne Eddings \u2013 Softball; Shakyrah Gladness \u2013 Softball; Sierra Gordan \u2013 Basketball; Noah Grimett \u2013 Baseball; Shayla Harper \u2013 Softball; Kordell Jiles \u2013 Baseball; Rylee Keith \u2013 Softball; Anthony Kinser \u2013 Basketball; Taylor Rowley \u2013 Softball; Brett Russell \u2013 Baseball; Hailey Satterfield \u2013 Soccer; Jocee Sparks \u2013 Softball; and Creed Watkins \u2013 Baseball. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NJCAA has also recognized five SSC athletic teams for ending their seasons with a 3.0 GPA or above.
