Seminole State College recently hired Brooks Nickell as its new Web and Multimedia Coordinator. Nickell graduated from Davenport High School. He holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in journalism with an emphasis on videography and photography from the University of Central Oklahoma.<\/p>\n\n\n

Nickell has published work with multiple media outlets, including the Oklahoma Gazette and This Land Press. While working as a photographer, videographer, editor and writer with multiple media outlets, Nickell developed a broad multimedia skill set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is truly a dream come true,\u201d Nickell said. \u201cI hope that my passion for storytelling through various media formats and my knowledge of what it is like to grow up in a small community can help Seminole State continue to grow and evolve.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kristin Dunn, SSC Director of Community Relations, said, \u201cWe\u2019re excited to have Brooks join our team. With his background, he\u2019ll be able to contribute immediately and strengthen our public relations team.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his new role on campus, Nickell will oversee photography, videography and social media. He will also assist in the redesign and management of the main college website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
