Seminole State College students may now enroll in online eight-week courses. The second eight-week classes will begin on Monday, Oct. 11, and will conclude on Friday, Dec. 10. The last day to enroll for these courses is Oct. 13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe\u2019re committed to meeting the schedules of our students at SSC. Eight-week courses offer another level of flexibility. They\u2019re also a great entry point for new students,\u201d SSC Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Bill Knowles said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Eight-week courses offered during the fall semester include Personal Finance, General Biology, General Chemistry, Introduction to Microsoft Office, Ethics in Criminal Justice, Fiction Writing, English Composition II, American National Government, Wellness and Human Development, American History Since 1877, Elementary Statistics, Special Topics in Statistics, Music Appreciation II, General Psychology, Speech and Learning Strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Those interested may enroll with their assigned advisor or in the Walkingstick Student Services Center, located on Highway 9 on the south side of campus. Students must enroll before classes begin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Regular office hours at the College are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday; and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday. Visit the College\u2019s website at www.sscok.edu to view current class schedules.
