The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (OSRHE) held a regular meeting at Seminole State College (SSC) on Feb. 1. The meeting was part of the OSRHE’s ongoing effort to visit and learn more about the state’s public colleges and universities. SSC President Lana Reynolds greeted the Regents and made a presentation on the college\u2019s history, academic initiatives, community impact, partnerships, athletics and opportunities for students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following their meeting, the state regents toured campus and visited several classes. Assistant Professor of Life Sciences Truitt Eubank welcomed the state regents into his General Botany course (pictured).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The state regents made their final tour stop at the Brian Crawford Memorial Sports Complex. SSC Rural Business and Resources Director Danny Morgan spoke about the economic impact the complex is having on the community.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
