Autumn Wiles, SSC Educational Foundation Advancement Coordinator.<\/em><\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

Autumn Wiles, Seminole State College Educational Foundation Advancement Coordinator, has been named among the 2018 NextGen Under 30 honorees.
\nNextGen Under 30 selected 267 winners, across 15 categories, from more than 1,000 nominees. Wiles was selected as an honoree in the Adult and Higher Education category.
\nIn addition to her role with SSC\u2019s Educational Foundation, Wiles serves as the Seminole Lions Club President-Elect and chairs the organization\u2019s fundraising committee. She is also the SSC Professional Staff Council President-Elect.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Prior to her role at SSC, she worked with a number of political campaigns and non-profit organizations, including the Commissioning Committee for the United States Navy\u2019s newest combat ship, the future USS Tulsa (LCS 16), where she served as executive director. During this time, Wiles was mentored by former Tulsa Mayor Kathy Taylor. Taylor acted as the ship\u2019s sponsor and played a key role in Wiles\u2019 success.
\n\u201cThe leadership, interpersonal relationship skills, and the mentors I\u2019ve met along the way have shaped and inspired my collaborative attitude and growth mindset,\u201d Wiles said.
\nWiles received her associate\u2019s degree from SSC and then majored in Political Science and Women and Gender Studies at the University of Oklahoma, where she received her bachelor\u2019s. She then pursued a legal education as a juris doctorate candidate at OU\u2019s College of Law.
\nThe NextGen Under 30 Award was founded in 2011 by Don Swift, publisher of ionOklahoma Magazine, to recognize the next generation of creative and innovative individuals. Award winners are selected based upon community participation and contribution, with recipients being selected from across the state of Oklahoma.<\/p>\n

The award ceremony will be held November 2 at the Embassy Suites in Norman, OK, with American Fidelity Foundation President Tom McDaniel to keynote.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
