Graduates Honored at SSC’s 92nd Commencement Ceremony

Seminole State College honored graduates at its 92nd Commencement Ceremony on May 9 in the Raymond Harber Field House. The capacity crowd cheered on students as they received their diplomas.

In this photo, graduating nursing students participate in the candle lighting ceremony during the 2025 SSC Nursing Pinning.

Seminole State College held a pinning ceremony at the Enoch Kelly Haney Center on May 9 for 14 nursing students expected to meet degree requirements this semester. The pinning ceremony also included candle lighting, signifying the transition from student to one of service. Since the nursing program began in 1972, more than 1,100 nurses have launched their careers at SSC.
