PLC Visit Stafford Air and Space Museum in Weatherford

The President’s Leadership Class traveled to the Stafford Air and Space Museum in Weatherford this week, where they toured the many exhibits featuring aviation and spaceflight history. The museum, named in honor of famed test pilot and astronaut Lt. General Thomas P. Stafford, has over 3,500 artifacts on display to those who visit the facility.

While at the museum, PLC students (l-r) Kris Scott of Seminole, Ernest Sego of Tecumseh, Miranda Shupe of Chandler and Kaitlyn Trunk of Okemah touch the casing of a nuclear warhead, a missile which once sat atop the Titan II Rocket.
