Seminole State College will host its annual Kids on Campus summer camp across two sessions: June 16-19 and July 7-10. Camps will run daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering half-day or full-day options for children ages 5 to 14.
The 2025 program includes an expanded lineup of hands-on and educational offerings. In the morning, younger campers can enjoy the Mini Makers Art Lab, where they’ll explore their creativity through clay, watercolor, tie-dying and heat pressing. Older students can enroll in The Art Lab, which offers a more advanced look at watercolor and clay art, along with the opportunity to create wearable designs.
Kitchen Confidence for Kids I introduces campers ages 5 to 9 to kitchen safety and healthy recipes using age-appropriate tools. Kitchen Confidence for Kids II builds on these skills for students 10 and older, who will use induction burners, griddles and slow cookers. Campers of all ages can also participate in Little Green Thumbs, where they’ll learn about plant germination and propagation through gardening projects.

Afternoon sessions include STEM – Aquatic Robots, a camp designed for students aged 10 and older. The camp teaches basic robotics and soldering as students build and test their own aquatic robots.
For campers not participating in STEM, options include Wild Child Fitness Camp, which offers stress relief activities, fun games and friendly competitions for both age groups. Brickitects invites students to design and build cityscapes using Legos, while Rhythm & Rhyme offers a creative musical experience, where students explore sound and instruments before crafting their own to take home.
Camp costs vary by session: half-day (morning or afternoon) camps are $100, full-day camps are $150 (a $50 savings), STEM-only sessions are $125, and full-day with STEM is $175. Lunch is included for full-day campers. Registration is now open.
