Denmark Students Say Goodbye

Making Memories in Oklahoma

Students in front of Classic Car
As part of their visit to Seminole State College this week, a group of Danish students stayed with area host families over the weekend. SSC Associate Professor of STEM Dr. Linda Goeller and husband Mark Goeller welcomed two of the students into their home and took them to experience a variety of local activities, including a car show at the annual Sorghum Day Festival in Wewoka.

A Fond Farewell

Rikke Nilsson
Denmark sponsor Rikke Nilsson opens a goodbye gift from Seminole State College – a wooden cutting board in the shape of Oklahoma. The delegation of students and sponsors departed from SSC Monday afternoon to travel home to Denmark. Another group of Danish students are scheduled to visit the campus in the spring as part of the College’s ongoing exchange program with College360.
