As the fall semester began this week, Seminole State College delivered more than 700 textbooks to 420 concurrent students at 38 area high schools. Through the Scott Empowerment Fund, concurrent students attending high school within SSC’s five-county service area automatically receive a scholarship covering the cost of books and fees. Combined with Oklahoma’s concurrent tuition waiver, the scholarship allows eligible students to attend SSC at no cost.
