Seminole State College GEAR UP Student-Parent Coordinators recently purchased school supplies for local high school students. Each freshman and sophomore student from the 10 SSC GEAR UP school district cohorts will receive various school supplies, including mechanical pencils, loose leaf paper, a pencil bag, ink pens, a highlighter, a three-ring binder with dividers and post-it notes.

In light of COVID-19, each student will also receive a mask and bottle of hand sanitizer. SSC GEAR UP serves the school districts of Asher, Holdenville, Konawa, Maud, Okemah, Prague, Seminole, Varnum, Wetumka and Wewoka.
