Seminole State College’s Leadership Development class collected more than 425 food items for the Salvation Army and SSC Food Pantry during its annual food drive, held Oct. 13-29. Donations included boxed and canned goods, as well as ready-to-eat and microwaveable meals. “This project is always one of the most direct and meaningful ways to support our neighbors and students,” said Professor of History Marta Osby, who teaches the class. Osby credited the hard work of students, support from SSC employees and generosity of community donors for the drive’s success.
