

The Seminole State College Trojan softball team won the NJCAA South Central District title last weekend and earned a trip to the JUCO World Series national tournament. The Trojans defeated NEO in the championship game 3-2 at the CPN FireLake Ball Fields in Shawnee on Saturday. The national tournament will begin on May 25, 2026, in Oxford, Alabama. There will be a “Road to the Nationals” celebration Wednesday morning, May 20 at 8:30 a.m. in the Haney Center at Seminole State College to honor both the softball team and the baseball team which also qualified for their national tournament last week. The baseball team will be leaving for Grand Junction, Colorado Wednesday morning. Campus and community supporters are invited to the celebration which will include a short program and an opportunity to congratulate the coaches and teams.
