Trojans Close Standout Season at JUCO World Series

The Seminole State College Trojan baseball team’s season came to a close at the JUCO World Series on Sunday, May 24, following a hard-fought 13-11 loss to Harford Community College of Maryland.

The Trojans fell to Walters State Community College of Tennessee 16-15 on May 23 in another close contest. SSC finished the season with a 48-13 overall record, captured the Region II title and claimed the South Central District championship on its way to Grand Junction, Colorado, for the program’s first JUCO World Series appearance since 2009.
