Eight-Week Classes Begin Next Week at SSC
Seminole State College students may now enroll in online eight-week courses.

Ed Lemmings Hired as New Director at SSC
Long-time Seminole civil servant Ed Lemmings has been named the Director of Physical Plant and Campus Safety at Seminole State College. Lemmings, who mostly recently worked as the Facility and Operations Manager at Seminole High School, will now monitor campus safety, oversee maintenance and custodial efforts, and help with projects related to COVID-19 responses at the College. How Adversity Inspired One SSC Student to Pursue a Career in Nursing
Seventy-two days – that is how long Seminole State College nursing student Devin Fluitt and her fiancé Westy Carpenter watched their twin daughters fight for their lives in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Her baby girls, Denton and Blakely, were born prematurely at 27 weeks in the Norman Regional HealthPlex Hospital in September of 2016. SSC PLC Visits St. Crispin’s Conference Center

Seminole State College President’s Leadership Class students completed teambuilding exercises at St. Crispin’s Conference Center on Sept. 3. The students participated in puzzle solving, group jump rope activities, rock climbing and swinging. SSC Names COVID-19 Officer
At the beginning of the fall semester, Seminole State College selected Dr. Deanna Miles to serve as the campus’s COVID-19 Officer.
